Community Longevity: Our $10 Million Capital Campaign
The Vail Religious Foundation greatly appreciates your interest in keeping alive the faith, spiritual and community center that has served us so well since 1969.

The $7 Million Construction Project
This renovation project for two commercial buildings and approximately 1/2 acre of land, used by over 50,000 people annually and open 365 per year, is much needed after 22 years since our last maintenance and renovation project. Projects include:
- Full parking lot replacement
- Roof replacement including snow fence, heat tape and gutters
- Re-landscaping in conjunction with Restore the Gore and new Memorial Area
- Solar Panels and Electric Vehicle Chargers
- Entry step replacement and snowmelt installation
- Window replacement
- ADA compliance
- Elevator replacement
- Sacristy renovation
- Energy efficient electrical and HVAC system replacements
- Lower level renovations and equipment replacement
- Security, sound and IT/AV upgrades
- Refurbishing all woodwork throughout Chapel, pews and chairs
- Riverside Spaces and Garden Renovation
The Endowment / Reserve Fund
The Vail Religious Foundation has never done any fundraising to assist with costs of operations. Our Reserve Fund, or Endowment (the savings to pay for major repairs and capital costs in the future), is very low due to the cost of starting up these construction projects. In order to maintain the buildings for the next 20 years (through 2041), and/or survive a catastrophic economic event, loss of congregation(s), or another pandemic, the Vail Interfaith Chapel will need $2.5 million by 2022.
